June Meeting Notes:
It was a good meeting. A little education and more pictures for all of us.
Larry presented information on Hyper Stereo Images. Fundamentally, Hyper Stereo means the distance left and right image is greater than 3 or 4 inches. Larry showed us a paper presented at 3D-CON earlier in June. The link to the paper is:
By the way, there are many more excellent papers on the 3D CON web site at:
Theme for July is Hyper Stereo Images. The challenge is to find objects at a distance that require more distance between the left and right images than normal. Personally, I’m still working on that one.
We discussed a number of locations and are listed on the Excursions Page. Please sign in and comment on your favorite so we can plan!
Future meeting suggestions include:
Hypo Stereo (close up images)
Composition of a 3D image (more than the rule of thirds)
And for July, Post Processing. Ken will present.
Larry has treats for July as well.
